Nutritional Supplements

You may have noticed that we haven't had much of a summer lately (!) and there are colds and viruses doing the rounds.   Support your immune system with a good quality anti-oxidants and vitamin C (1-2g a day for maintenance and more if you are "sickening" for a cold - 1g an hour to as much as your bowels can tolerate.!!) and there is also much research into the benefits of vitamin D at the moment.  Either go to my online store or book a kinesiology treatment to test for what you really need...

Miscellaneous

Thought I'd share with you some books / articles / websites I'd come across recently:

"Dirty Medicine - The Handbook" - Martin J Walker - lifting the lid on the vested interests, corporate agents and pharmaceutical companies - helping the complementary health care industry fight back

www.royce-lingerie.co.uk    Great feminine bras (non-underwired which is important for breast health) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14965552

Curtain making in the Forest Row area - including design - Tracey Evans 01342 870186

A major study published in the British Medical Journal in July last year found that weaker men tended to die earlier than stronger men, even after allowing for activity level and cardiovascular fitness?
The researchers measured the maximum strength of over 8000 men and followed them for 19 years on average. They found the highest death rates from all causes, including heart disease and cancer, in those men with the lowest strength. Interestingly, the effect was still present in those who did no exercise at all.
